Produktions-Bedingungen
Black Forest Studios provides film production, commercial production, postproduction, studio services, and related creative services for national and international clients. These Production Terms apply to all production-related agreements unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1. Cancellation Policy
Separate cancellation terms apply to film and video productions:
- Cancellation up to one month before the start of filming: 25% of the confirmed contract price.
- Cancellation up to two weeks before the start of filming: 50% of the confirmed contract price.
- Cancellation up to one week before the start of filming or later: 100% of the confirmed contract price.
Cancellation or termination must be made in writing. The date of receipt by Black Forest Studios is decisive.
2. Production Responsibility
Clients are responsible for ensuring that all required rights, permits, licenses, releases, and approvals related to their production are obtained prior to the start of production.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- filming permits
- music licenses
- appearance releases
- drone permissions
- trademark clearances
- location permissions
3. AI-Supported Workflows
Black Forest Studios may use AI-supported technologies and digital production tools during development, production, postproduction, localization, or optimization processes. All AI-assisted workflows remain under human creative supervision.
4. Liability
Black Forest Studios shall only be liable for damages caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence, except where mandatory statutory liability applies.
Clients are responsible for insuring their own equipment, media, data, and production assets unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Delivery and Revisions
Project timelines, revisions, deliverables, and approval stages shall be defined individually within the respective production agreement or quotation.
Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may be billed separately.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to treat confidential information, unpublished materials, production concepts, scripts, financial information, and internal production processes as confidential unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Portfolio Usage
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Black Forest Studios reserves the right to use excerpts, stills, behind-the-scenes material, production frames, and project references for portfolio and marketing purposes.
8. Final Provisions
Any amendments or additions must be made in writing. Should individual provisions become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
The place of jurisdiction is Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
